That's one of the few things that plague Lock On is the lack of customizability when it comes to custom flight models. I guess its to keep the cheaters out of the aircombat part of the game. Some day maybe we'll get a replacement for Lock On. I guess it is part of the reason why we didn't go to town with the Hawk.lom. Why try to make something perfect especially when the game doesn't support it very well.Rhino wrote:O man, so many teams using the F-15. This is going to be a tough VFAT to mod.
Last year, there were originally two mods planned for VFAT. One European and one American, since we'd have the shows on different days (same weekend). In the end we only needed one mod, but with more teams willing and ready to fly this year, this may be the present sollution to work around the limitations of flyable slots (mods).
Soon enough there might be a need to qualify for VFAT??? Have the community vote (poll) whom they would like to see out of the available lineup if there isn't enough time. Who knows? 2008 maybe?

I had no idead there was two mods one for europe and america. I know there is a lot of teams out there now and VFAT is set to be huge. The only other solution I can think of to kinda help spread out the teams is make more events available. Instead of just have it once a year maybe have multiple events?? I would kinda hate to see some teams get banned because we can not get enough slots. Would hate to see all of their practice go to waste because they did not get voted for. Just my 2cents.
Seeing how both US teams will likely use our own servers, I'm thinking that you can still do this whole huge vfat. I mean, how hard is it to install one mod and then reinstall another one after that show is done with. If we can get everyone on the same page, it wont be that hard. With the new modeling, it may be possible to have multiple models on the same F-15 flight model, but thats something that is still to be found and codes messed with.

would be kinda cool to just have all the teams in one server and have somebody with really good internet bandwidth be running a recording that everybody can connect to and spectate thru that. Narrows down the bandwidth and pressure on the server AND on the teams performing. And yes, have something like what Rhino said
