I have on some level given up on flying big jets in MSFS and have been working on the challenge of jet aerobatics. I love the VTB and have LOMAC, but not Flaming Cliffs, which seems to be regarded as pretty necessary. My questions are:
1. What major improvements are in Flaming Cliffs? I've heard that all aircraft dynamics have recieved a major rework and I know the graphics have been improved. Basically, I'm asking how big a difference is seen in these areas. I will definitely be getting Flaming Cliffs, but am just curious if familiration and practice with aerobatics would be all for naught if I do it with basic LOMAC for a while.
2. Is there a quick way that I am missing in LOMAC to get set on the runway ready to go with no real targets or mission (i.e., just practice flying around)?
Thanks for your help.

1.) There are improvements to the flight model, graphics and net code. But we flew on 1.02 for over a year b/f FC ever came out. There's no reason why you couldn't practice in 1.02, but if you want to fly online you'll pretty much have to have FC.
2.) Just add a plane on top of an airport and under the mission tab select Takeoff and then below that select From Runway. You'll start on the runway with the engines running.
