Hi everyone, just registered and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Phil, I'm 31, and live in North Carolina.

I wanted to tell you guys what an incredible job I thought you did with Smoke On. The skills you display are amazing, made even more so considering the networking issues such as lag that you must deal with.

I can't tell you how man times I've watched it and I enjoy it now just as much as I did when I first saw it. You gave the audience a spot-on, true to life show from vantage points impossible to achieve in the real world. The Predator Cam was an awesome touch I might add  Who's idea was that?

I haven't been to see the real thing in twenty years since I went twice with my dad when I was a kid. Inspired by your movie I plan to go see them when they come to Pope AFB in October.

Sorry for the long post. Take care!

Welcome to the forums Phlux!

Thanks for the feedback. The Predator Cam was an idea stemmed from the Aviation Nation air show at Nellis AFB 2005, when they used giant big screens along the crowdline and had real Predators showing live footage from the air and locked onto the Thunderbirds among other things such as in cockpit footage and more from the pilots as well. That's where the idea came from, but it also made it more fun to reproduce this virtually since our friend and former Thunderbird, "Animal" up until just recently, when he received his squadron command (AT-38s), was working at the base on the UAV program including the Predators. I think it gave him a kick that we mirrored this in our movie much like the Aviation Nation air show of 2005.

Enjoy watching the Thunderbirds in 2007. We're expecting a tighter show than ever now that Commander "Hollywood" is warmed up for his second year on the team. If you blink you may miss something!

Sweet avatar!! That cap was actually taken by one of the B-Course students in my old Squadron, the 62nd back at Luke AFB. It was also a pretty cool video.

Thanks for the welcome LD!

Koa, thanks I'm glad you like it. I first saw that vid over on a Falcon 4.0 forum and absolutely loved it. That was the first time I had ever heard the song "Move" and it fit the vid perfectly. I had to make an avatar out of that clip, it was just too cool.

It's awesome that's your old squadron.
