My DVD just arrived yesterday and WOW! I don't have my HDTV yet, but even on my crappy $200 Panasonic it looked great! And it's put together real well. Definitely worth the money.
And yes, LG had a BluRay DVD/HD DVD player at CES, so it's coming... at $1200 currently.
