Give me a few aluminum wings, glue, duck-tape, and two fire extinguishers and I will make my own of one of them :-D. That would be just great to own one of those things.
Hmmmmmmmm, so what does the ATC say when he see's an unknown object on his screen????......(15 minutes later, he gets pulled over by a pair of Cessna 182's operated by the National Air and Space Police)

I'm pretty sure the only way he can land is with an enlarged parachute after his motor is finished burning. So no matter what goes on during the flight, right or wrong, his plan for getting back to earth remains unchanged.

And yes the catastrophic failure of a rocket motor would pretty much shower tiny Jet-Man jiblets for miles and miles

Never saw the video b/f- he's not using rockets, it looks like he has RC jets strapped to his wing. Probably the first jet engine used for powered flight that has finger guards on the intake.

Red- how much thrust can the biggest RC Jet Motors generate?

No, no...This is a little more my speed (Just in case you guys didn't notice, my personal fuselage isn't real streamlined  )

http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos/Richard/1347/

I met him at the Kirtland show - he had his sailplane there, but didn't fly. He's got two 45 pounders that give him 50 minutes and a max speed of 100 kts in level flight :D

BTW...looks like our Cobra was on the design team at BVM Jets  I'm sure those intakes must be purple, but they sure look pink in that pic
