Question to the VTB's about Thrustmaster

Post by ShaK » Mon Dec 11, 2006 9:17 pm

I hope you dont take this the wrong way, but I have a question about your partnership with thrustmaster.

I see you keep saying that you have a partneship with TM. The top of your site says sponsored by TM.

Sponsorship and partnership are not the samething. If what you have is a sponsorship and not a partnership, then saying partneship all the time would be misleading.

All I see you guys offerning is a sticker. I would say your relationship is more of a sponsorship than a partnership.

I am totally missing something here though. I know most corporations would not allow the term "partnership" to be thrown around by affiliates that they sponsor.

So whats the deal here, can Cougars be purchased directly through the VTB's or something else?

Like I said at the top, please dont take this the wrong way, I'm really just wondering... and if its none of my business, then thats cool to.

BTW your videos are excellent! Like seeing a real show

No we're not partners in the legal sense.

They are our sponsors in the legal sense.

And so ends the most boring thread ever to grace the VTB forum ;)

ShaK -
I'm sure your question was simply out of curiosity...maybe it will clarify things for you if you check Thrustmasters official press release 7/5/06. In the first paragragh they refer to it as a "partnership". It's actually a pretty good article worth reading.

hey guys, I just re-read my post. It does sound kind of... accusatory.

That totaly was not my intent. I guess I was just trying to Ask if there is a partnership or Sponsorship. Do I have to go about dealing with TM a certian way to help benifit VTB?

I think the whole thing just came out in a werid way. Sorry about that.

I think maybe I have A.D.D. HDTV would be cool. Im hungry, hmmm Cheeseburger

LOL, no there's no special way to purchase a cougar so that the VTB get credit for the new customer- but thanks for the thought. CompUSA is the newest supplier of Cougars but if they are short on stock Amazon.com has competitive pricing as well.
