Hello All

Serria and myself are making a skin for our team as some of you already know from our questions earlier. Thanks for all the tips as we have it up and running.
I have put numbers 1-9 on the tails and in the options/payload screen need to select the skin (colour scheme) for each aircraft. Everything works fine but another question has come up as i'm making a mission taylored for our team.

How do you edit the colour scheme NAMES to match our skins?
example:
32nd TFS (CR) AB Soesterberg to FreeBirds #1 Boss
58th FS "Gorillas" (EG) AFB Eglin to FreeBirds #2 Inner Right Wing
etc...

We are still using 1.02

what your gunna have to edit is the meinit which is in the lockon/ME/ folder, just search for those names that you wanna change and change them accordingly.

Anyway of eliminating the jet numbers the game provides in the payload screen?

yes you have to edit out the numbers in the file "nomera.tga" by getting rid of the alpha channel that covers the american numbers.

note: we are still on 1.02 version.

try looking in the temp textures folder....

I can't find the nomera.tga in the temp textures folder or anywhere!

I have found 2 files in "Loman_backups_don't_remove" folder.
They are: nomera.tga.dds and nomera.tga.new.

Would one of these be the one?

It's in the CDDS file but you cannot extract it...however some people have been able to and are hosting it on their sites I might be able to find it but if not just use the one from our mod on our site....it has the file in there....and you can modify it to your needs...on our file the numbers are missing for the F-16 and a few other planes..

lol that took less than a minute to find the file here it is hosted...the original file!
