The military has realesed the name of the missing F-16 pilot that had crashed in Iraq Last week.. Maj. Troy L. Gilbert, he is part of the 309th FS from Luke AFB in Glendale AZ... Hes from my home base. Lets keep Maj. Gilbert and ALL troops in Iraq in our prayers. May they ALL return soon safe and well..

One of my copilots is also a F-16 reservist at Luke AFB and he informed me yesterday that Maj Gilbert, a close friend of his, has 5 children, including a set of twins. If you are one to pray, may your prayers be directed to Maj Gilbert's wife and children.

They have all of the pieces of the airplane except no pilot. We recovered the chute and I imagine the seat, too. They just can't find him. Unlike that movie, there aren't very many places in Iraq where one can hide, other than buildings. No natural terrain to use in that part of the country.
