Look at 'em scatter for cover! Good thing he's flying a high wing trainer without AB...

I could be wrong, but I'm told the core of a jet's exhaust that is actually damaging isn't much wider than the airframe. Any insight on that from the jet pilots around here?

There's a version of this with the HUD tape here:

Actually makes it more terrifying because he's not exactly Captain Iron Gloves as he puts it on the deck. And the people clearly diving to save their lives, captured forever on film...

I will put money on the fact that pilot won't live much longer. If you want to endanger yourself like that fine...as long as you own that plane, but more importantly don't ever endanger innocent people just standing around to watch you flyby. That was darn right stupid. There is a fine line between an amazing low level pass and one that is completely stupid with unwarranted danger. This one is the latter. Is this pilot from the Ukraine or something?

Brazil... close enough!

It would have been just "cool" and not "shocking" if there hadn't been a bunch of people standing directly where he was aiming his 300 kt missile full of jet fuel.

Luckily for him, those wings are made from canvas!
