Aha! Found a pic finally.
I saw this plane flying around today with an E-3 at the Blue Angels Show. Looks like a 757 with some weird radars on it. Could I get an explanation on what those are?

Served as the F-22 flying test bed....if you look closely you will notice the f-22's nose is on the it as well as many other sensors/computers.

MD-11'S HAVE A MIDDLE WHEEL...SO YES, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE.

Yep, middle wheel on all MD-11's, I did a jumpseat from KSEA - KOAK on a FedEx MD-11. I thought it was a little strange. I believe DC-10's along with several other planes have middle wheels. What was that F-22 testbed doing in Seattle at the airshow? It wasn't part of the airshow I don't think since it came in and landed a little earlier than the Blue Angels and never flew again after that. I see that thing parked there 24/7 though.

There in a Boeing plant in Everett, Washington. Very close to Seattle.

Dont ya think I know that? I live about 30 miles from it :D

I just didn't know that they did the testing here. I heard from a guy that works at Boeing Field they were working on the fuselage of a F-22. I had no idea they tested it right here though, sweet  .

Glad you already knew the answer to your questions and no, we don't all know where you live and even if we did most users wouldn't stay abreast of such extraneous information. So, now you know... but you already knew...

Lawndart,

I figured that the Location: Seattle, WA under my username pretty much hinted where I lived. As for the question, I knew that they built aircraft at Everett Co. but I didn't think they would test F-22 equipment here. Building and testing aircraft are two different things to me.

Economics is everything in the real world... Hence, why testing and the plant many times are co-located until the initial prototype phases are completed as well as alterations and testing of new design, even post-production.
