The sunsets with the Eagle and Hornet at the end are also really cool. Does anyone know if that's made with AE (and not in-game)?

Guarantee it's at least partly AE. You can see some lens effects on top of the clouds, looks like he just made a new "sun" and masked it off for the clouds/jets.

Wow! That looks incredible. Very well made video, great editing. I can't wait to fly it!
