Changes in 1.12 (TBA)

Post by Lawndart » Wed Nov 23, 2005 7:13 pm

Latest info on the soon to be released 1.12 patch from ED. These are a few of the bug fixes from the 1.12 patch, there are more but these are some of the bigger ones.

* Implemented new joystick profile system. Now player can use several joysticks of same type and name. Each joystick instance have a unique configuration file.

* The target range is no more displayed on the F-15 HUD in HOJ mode.

* Fixed incorrect MP flaps animation on A-10A. Removed combat flaps position on F-15C and Su-33.

* Engine sound on MP aircrafts is played correctly now according to actual RPM. MP aircraft spool up and spool down on the ramp as well as airborne.

* Take off and landing MP shaking for SFM fixed. No jitter between ground and flight logic.

It's things liek those that made the game originally delayed for so long. They worry about things that are meaningless instead of working on major bugs or new features (1.2). BAH

We received news about this early and have already taken the steps necessary during the past couple of weeks for "the show to go on"!

thanks for the reply, one more question here though... would you please tell us if there are going to be any changes in the SOPs or anything the "VTB wannabe"s would like to know?

Regards,

Procedures and callouts are up-to-date. Most "patch-induced" flight testing and subsequent changes never find their way into our abbreviated SOPs, since they are very specific for how the Boss flies. The doc would have to be ten times as big to explain all the details.

To answer your question, the file avail for download is the most recent one with the anticipated patch changes accounted for.
