Thanks... I got kind-of a blister-gram from someone thinking I'd claimed this was FSX, which isn't the case.
The project I have going into the museum here in Edmonton will communicate between users via IP chat and SimConnect, so the kids will be able to try formation rejoins with a little panel 300x300 pixels displaying rate of closure and such.
I'm wondering what success folks have had with FSX formation. I have Sabres, Tutors and Super Hornets in mind.
Cheers,
Kevin
@Burner- I invited Kevin to the forums. At which he then accepted my invitation and is now apart of the forumsBurner wrote:@Kevin, if you talk to him - You can do formation in FSX, just not formation aerobatics.

Thanks very much for the invite... I'll take you up on that.
As it happens, I have had one hop with the real Snowbirds when they were on workups in Comox, BC about 1993 or so.
Speedy Fast, Mike Scubitzki, and Yogi Hougibert are a couple of their past team I've flown with; the first two were on T-33's with my unit in the early 80's.
We had a four-plane there and did summer shows from Texas to Miramar (out of Cold Lake, Alberta) but most shows were in Western Canada.
Being CF-trained, I have about 220 hrs on the Tutor getting my wings in '83... now my kids are in the Air Cadets so this is wrapped up more so with that idea.
Also, MEDEVAC angle -- M*A*S*H -- for the helicopter crowd, with the Bell 412. (Canada's military calls that a "Griffon".)
I'll join the chat ASAP.
Bye for now,
Kevin
