Virtual Royal International Air Tattoo - YSFlight
(July 23 2009) - The global YSFlight community is holding one of the largest virtual aviation events August 5th and 6th. The Virtual Royal International Air Tattoo will feature a small performance by a simulated Royal Air Force Red Arrows display, a full high show performance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the F-22 Raptor, F-16 Viper, and other demonstrations including skydivers, aerobatics, flyover, and military hardware.
A group of individuals who comprise “YS Air Shows” have ran special events on YSFlight for over two years. They say that the YSFlight system is easy to work with, and is very open for upgrades. He also notes that YSFlight is free and can run almost any computer, being extremely available for use by just about anybody. The show features the most highest quality add-on aircraft and scenery available for YSFlight. The YSAS committee invites all who enjoys airplanes, aviation, air shows, and the love of flight for a few hours of entertainment each day.
The show will be held August 5th (Wednesday) and August 6th (Thursday) with the 5th being the PRACTICE day. The practice day is OPEN to the public and will feature some of the scheduled performances. The 6th is the full main show, and will feature all scheduled performers.
How can I watch the show? The solution is very simple, and will require only two easy installations. YSAS is constructing a new custom YSFlight install for the Virtual Royal International Air Tattoo. This will feature all add-ons and scenery and you will be at the air show by less than three clicks. Another installation is Teamspeak, which features air show narration and music for the performances.
