Thanks for posting Blaze. I suppose it's time to dust off that 11-year old copy of Falcon 4.0 <gulp> I have laying around here somewhere and install it again. Maybe it's part nostalgia, part hoping it can somehow deliver more, but something about Falcon always gets me interested in it again. (After all, it was the first flightsim I fell in love with back in the 1980's...).
I have to ask the grand daddy question now, however, how is the netcode in FF5?
Also, did I see a Viggen in one of the screenshots?

They spent a lot of time on both the naval side of Falcon and its multiplayer stability. I will be testing out the multiplayer myself and a few others to see how she holds up.

FF4 lacked MP stability and FF5 is the same network code...
Along with a few other WTF I've heard, I won't be installing this one.

Which Falcon do you
live by these days Panther?
The full designation of the Viggen is the Saab JA 37 Viggen. (Other variants are the AJ, SH, SK, SF depending on its role, but the JA was most commonly found prior to its retirement in June 2007). JA stands for "Jakt/Attack" (i.e. Figther/Attack). Here's a pic of the JA 37 with its distinct look.

I like MP so I have stuck with the stable F4AF. All the other versions of Falcon are great for SP but lack the stable netcode.

Jeez Panther, if you prefer F4AF then I recommend getting mainly Open Falcon. Allied Force is a stripped down version of it.

Patched to the latest patch and Aeyes widescreen pits, hitiles and modified sound pack.
I have OF but after spending a week trying to connect for MP I said screw it. F4AF is so much easier PERIOD!

FF5 looks like a bad joke so won't waste my time with it.
Panther if you have issues with the OF's MP I suggest you to try OF Launcher:
http://oflauncher.free.fr/OF_Launcher/S ... uncher.zip
It's pretty simple to use and allows you to set up and backup your DTC.
