Post by Lawndart » Fri Nov 02, 2007 10:53 am

For the first time in 28 years, the British Royal Air Force demonstration team, the Red Arrows have modified the paint scheme of its Hawks.

...not too much though! ;)

Works here, I wonder if they changed the white bird/arrow on the belly.

Looks like they just moved the "Royal Air Force" from the front of the fuse to the intake side. Much larger letters though.

Thats going to be quite tricky since, according to one of Ells' posts, all of the support equipment has been deployed to Raz.

The paint was in the back of one of the 130's

You can expect to see the new colours on the VRA jets in the New Year, seeing as Beaster is planning to fly the VFAT team as low to a lake as possible to clean off the mud ready for the new paint job

Edit > Email received re the belly:

Dear Chris,

Underneath the aircraft has remained the same.

Looks great, but why is the tail texture look like it is distorted?
