Convertible and Phxbndt79,

No problem guys...Im going for the practice show as well as sat and sun show... Im trying to find out what time the Thunderbirds arrive on Thursday so I can get some photos of there fly in...Im guessing between 1230 and 1330. I do hope there will be some good displays both on the ground and in the air..But none the less Im there to see the Thunderbirds. If i hear anything that isnt on the site Ill pass it on.

I agree the F-22 is an impressive bird to say the least. Falcon56, are you getting on base on Friday for the practice show? If so, how? Friday's on base are the best. I will be there Sat none the less. Hope to maybe run into you guys. Later.

Im going friday for the practice show.. I actually work out at Luke (so getting on base will be no prob)..Now parking on the jet side of base thats going to be fun...NOT...But what I plan on doing for the show weekend is parking at the BX and just walk over to the other side...Its a little walk but hey its good for the health... :)

Yeah Fridays are the best.. hardly any people out at the show site so you can get good photos of the displays on the ground and in the air...Plus you dont have to fight to get autographs.. Which is a BIG plus... Im sure Ill see ya out there that Saturday...

I've watched the Thunderbirds six times at Luke. The Friday show is the best because there is more freedom to get a different view of the show. Out by Test Cell or the Tower is the best. Thats the closest you are going to get. I watched them from the top of the Maintenance Training Building one year. You couldn't beat that view.

how bad is it usually to get autographs?? All these years I havent waited for autographs from the pilots but want to get the two girl thunderbirds autographs for my little girl..Are they pretty good about waiting around and signing things or are the like most sports stars and sign a few and run along??

If they do things the way they've done it in past years, they will be there until no one wants any more autographs. I know at Rockford there was a line of kids wanting to meet "Fifi" and she stayed there until they all got to meet her. They are all really class acts.

Also to note there, they are doing the "Viper vs. Viper" race again apparently. Would be awesome if some of you guys could get some pictures for us all here in the frigid midwest driving around our 4-W-Drives!
