Push to talk

Post by lieutfunaki » Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:33 pm

What keyboard key do you all use for push to talk that doesn't conflict with lomac?

Also, I noticed this on the USAF Thunderbird's site:

"The dogfight switch on the throttle has been rewired to accommodate a smoke oil on/off switch and a stopwatch has been added to each cockpit for timing."

Do you guys use the dogfight switch for smoke? I'm using it for dogfight mode, but I suppose that we aren't doing any air to ground...so we could use that position for smoke....
With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good.®

I use CAPS for PTT (then program CAPS onto one of the buttons on the throttle with Foxy) and I have one of my hat switches on the stick as smoke. I know the real Tbird 16's have the dogfight switch rewired, but that would limit your Cougar the way Foxy treats that switch as a "modifier" for all other buttons.

Ventrilo will soon be blown away. :)

Just use voice activation and piss people off, I know Eagle does it sometimes ;)
