If you would rather use a program to convert a video file into a music file, I use RealPlayer. It is a free media program and now comes with its own media converter. RealPlayer Converter can convert 3gp, flv, avi, wmv, mp4, and a few others into just about any audio format of your choice. You can also choose the audio bit rate you would like to convert a video into as well. The converter does not convert into .flac or .ogg.
RealPlayer also comes with a web browser plugin for IE and Firefox that allows you to rip videos right off YouTube, Vimeo, or any other media website. Once it finishes downloading, the downloader will give you the option to convert the video file into an audio file right then and there.
