Electronics prices likey to soar - Japan quake

Thinking about buying electronics or a new computer soon? The quake in Japan could affect electronic prices world wide. Up to 40% of the supply of Lithium-ion batteries, LCDs, and flash memory comes from Japan. Even on many things where it says "assembled in China", the actual parts are manufactured in Japan. As supplies diminish we could see a world wide price hike for the next 6 months...

Hmm yeah makes sense, unless they have to sell a lot of stocks to keep their export economy going. It may even go down slighlty I guess.

The problem they'll have is getting the goods out.
