DVD and CD burning software?

Post by Convertible » Mon Sep 06, 2010 1:35 am

Hey everyone,

I am looking for DVD and/or CD burning software that is free and really good. Any advice out there? I have been using Sonic Record now and have had issues. What are some of the best ones that are easy to d/l and are free (preferred). Thanks.

Depends on what you're wanting to burn to CD or DVD. If it is media such as music and movies, and if you have Windows you should be able to use Windows Media Player to burn the music or movie to. That is of course if you have it in the music and/or movie in the correct format to burn with WMP. Also 9 out of 10 DVD-r/rw drives should come with burning software itself. If you have lost this software I would go look on CNET and see if they have that version there or go to the manufactures' website of your DVD drive and see if you can download the software/drivers from them.

Hey Con,
I use Real Player for CD audio to mp3 and never had any problem with that.
www.real.com

I also have a free DVD burning software which never fails for me.
I'll dig the file out at work tomorrow and host it up for you.

IF you haven't heard from me it's cause I'm mad busy at work but drop me an Email ells@veao.eu and it will remind me.

Thanks,
Ells
