I got a question for those here that have been through this, as I am about to order a 1080P LCD for myself.
I noticed Redeye stating that he had a problem running LockOn at 1920 x 1080, and had to revert to another resolution to view "everything". Are you guys not able to view LockOn at the full resolution of 1920 x 1080?
I'm just wondering why you would have to revert to a 17* resolution to see everything
Also: is there a tweak you have to do to your config files to get the full resolution?

I was just about to order one when I read this post while searching through-out the web for 1080P LCD's and PC Games.

I've had no problems myself, just go into Lock On\Config\graphics.cfg, and under displaymode set resolution to 1920, 1080 and aspect to 1.78 on the first three values in that section (no need to change AVI)
Keep in mind, that when you go to a widescreen ratio, Lock-On just crops the vertical image, but I would never go back to small screen!

Also even though it crops the image you can still zoom out to get the vertical view you had with standard aspect ratio. Only draw back is a slight warping of the image on the right and left sides.

Great, thanks for the info. So there is no real concern with not being able to see my full desktop with the Start Bar at the bottom then at 1920 x 1080 it sounds which is great news to my ears.
Thank-you.
