Raz server and client

Post by Redeye » Mon Jan 22, 2007 12:43 pm

I have installed the programs but unable to make it work?

Raz client on my #1 flying computer.
Raz server installed on my 2nd/server computer.

When I bring up the raz sever, I get a dos window that says:
Server>

I tried my home IP with no luck?
Server>24.207.49.225
Server>ip24.207.49.225

I have a router so I place my server internal IP 192.168.0.101 in the DMZ. This works when I host Phantom Control.

I also tried my server internal IP with no luck?
Server>192.168.0.101
Server>ip192.168.0.101

Anybody have any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Try seeing if your IP has changed, if not, check your internal again cause it really is or should be 192.168.0.0/1

Thats all I can say because from what it looks like you are setting it up right.

Thanks Viper but my home IP has not changed. (24.207.49.225)

In my router setup, I have assigned my 2nd computer the internal IP 192.168.0.101. My 1st computer internal is 192.168.0.100

A picture to show what i'm trying? I type in the numbers and hit ENTER. All that happens is server> jumps down ready for another entry? :(

This is a small program that was made by the same guy who did Phantom Control. It simply plays a ellongated sound that is syncronized with the game clock. In other words, everyone hears it at exactly the same time. No ventrilo lag or internet connection issues.

The program is used by the White Ravens. Thanks to Frazer for all his help.

Read the readme for install process.
