T.A.R.G.E.T Software Updates

T.A.R.G.E.T SOFTWARE_ RELEASE CANDIDATE 2 - 12 11 2010
System requirements:

- Windows® XP/ Windows® Vista 32 bits & 64 bits/ Windows® 7 32 bits & 64 bits

Supported Thrustmaster products:

- HOTAS Warthog
- HOTAS Cougar
- MFD Cougar pack
- T.16000M

Installation procedure:

1- Download the new T.A.R.G.E.T software and manuals:

• Create a folder for all your Thrustmaster downloads: right-click the Windows desktop, then point to New/Folder.

• Name the folder Thrustmaster Downloads.

• Click the download link (or the T.A.R.G.E.T. icon).

• A File Download dialog box appears. Click Save.

• A Save As dialog box appears. Select the Thrustmaster Downloads folder you have created and then click Save.


2- Uninstall the previous T.A.R.G.E.T version:

(Windows Vista / 7): Click Start/Control Panel /Programs/Uninstall a program, then uninstall Thrustmaster TARGET .

(Windows XP) : Click Start/Settings/Control Panel /Add or Remove Programs then uninstall Thrustmaster TARGET.

Alternatively, you can simply launch this package, and select Uninstall.


Note that the old configuration files and options will be preserved and will work with this new version

Once complete, double-click the installation (.exe) file and follow the instructions provided to install the software.

Changes :


- The crash caused by keyboard language is solved
- The FW version + serial number display for Warthog Joystick and Throttle
- The Cougar RUDDER axis is added in GUI and can be used
- Creating .ttm files from script editor is now possible
- The devices which are not selected in GUI are not disabled (thanks to the new script command Exclude)
- Added in GUI a button which displays in Wordpad the generated script, this may be very useful for the ones who want to learn the script assisted by GUI
- user friendly error message when both GUI and editor are opened
- Version number displayed in the GUI application menu bar
- Right mouse click on config files in Dashboard with 3 options (Run, Edit, Print)
- how do I -> run at selection, without 'Go' button
- events tree - single click select
- run configuration button -> moved up and made bigger, from the border in the content
- warthog idle on/off buttons reversed
- non-Thrustmaster devices - notify the user with an "unsupported" message in the output window at script launching
- mouse axis up, down, left, right can be assigned as button events in GUI
- configuration options -> mouse speed value selector
- GUI Config files list -> full path tooltip
- keyboard shortcuts for message boxes (ENTER, ESC, SPACE, TAB)
- fixed the KP . key issue (compile error in GUI generated code)
- keys F13..F24 should work now
- fixed the 3D model jump on Configure Axis
- DFM and SPDM are swapped
- All virtual keys are released when the script is stopped
- MapKey function extended with a new parameter 'rioumd' (but still fully compatible with the old one)
- CHAIN delays preserved at button release (should avoid sticky keys in CHAINs with delays and no LOCK).

- Macro already used to appear in different color
- Improved event tester application
