Hard to answer relative to the Cougar given the linear spring pulls on the Cougar, plus the rubber boot changing the force.Frazer wrote:Question, how heavy are the springs on the stick? I owned a Cougar, how does it compare?
Compared to flying formation with a force mod, any spring feels light.
If you tilt the base up perpendicular to the ground, the stick will deflect about half way or so. Not all the way, but it sure as heck won't hold itself at a 90 degree angle to the base.
When either we're allowed to, or the first person who buys one shows a picture of the guts, you'll see what I mean when I say the spring mech is not stressed in such a way that I expect it to change tension much over its life, or snap a spring for a looooooong time.

I've said this before elsewhere, but the Warthog is an entirely different animal.
