Deadzones X-52

Post by Sweeper » Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:40 pm

Hello,
What are the best deadzones for the X-52?
Now I'm flying without deadzones but that's not realistic.
So what are the best settings?
Thanks in advance

My advice is if there's any loosness at the center the deadzone should match that loosness. Meaning when you engage the springs you start sending an input to the game.

I believe I have been Extremely Lucky, my X52 has not developed any center play or dead zones, If I move the stick the smallest amount IRL shows up in game :D

but then again, it's become habitual to clean this thing every 2 days , plus the resistance mods I have help the very loose play of the stick.

Anyways, as I am off my luck rant :P I agree with Burner, if a dead zone shows up in your CP, try to match that with the game 8)

Saitek X52 & X52Pro ONLY

(Gunoil, can be found in any army shop)

(Clean joystick contacts & iron tube every week. Then spray a little amount of Ballistol on the joystick green parts)

Image
(There is no point of setting a deadzone for pitch, even with some loosness which every Saitek has. If you do so, and you go from pull to push, you will loose control on that spot.)

(Set Deadzones on Saitek Control Panel to synchronize with throttle detents)

Thanks for the tips!!
But there's nothing wrong with my X-52.
The plane rolls too fast.
