There are some wonderful videos up on Aviation Nation from the season ending performance of the Thunderbirds and the Nellis Airshow to watch here:

Las Vegas Air Show

Both Thunderbird shows in their entirety and the groundshows can be seen as well as many other performances. Standby for about 10 hours + (?) of videos from this past weekend (12-13th Nov '05). The Thunderbird show is just stunning! Make sure you have some spare time for those, since it's the entire show x 2...

Along with this, I'd like to just add a farewell to all Thunderbird members who's tour on the team has now come to an end (show wise), enlisted, officers and pilots alike! Among the pilots, that includes Thunderbird #1 Lt Col. Mike Chandler, Thunderbird #3 Maj. Chris Callaghan, Thunderbird #5 Maj. Scottie Zamzow and Thunderbird #8 Maj. Dave Haworth. Also, I'd like to send best wishes to Thunderbird #3 ('04-June '05) Maj. Brian Burns, who couldn't finish out the year with the team, but none the less a truly remarkable pilot and Thunderbird! To the squad members returning next season: Certainly looking forward to seeing you again next year and to all of the '05 team, thanks for putting on a truly amazing show season! Enjoyed it!

Excellent find Lawndart! I am really enjoying these videos and am particularly impressed with the way that they have been put together. I started by watching the "1430 Thunderbirds Aerial Performance" and it has been very entertaining because they have edited it with internal footage and external footage of both the Diamond and Solo manuevers. Thanks for sharing this link!

I would also like to second your farewell to the retiring USAF Thunderbirds and wish all the best to the new members of the 2006 team!

Yes, was a great show to witness first hand from Show Center infront of the grandstands...

Rock.. This was a special treat for everyone at the show, the incockpit video was done live with no editing.. what you see is what we got.. they really pulled out the stops on this season finale..

This particular show was very important for so many veterans that attended.. As you can see at the end of the performance.. they did the Missing Man Formation, which really moved everyone.

Thank You AirForce ThunderBirds!!

Just a small question. Did they do the webcast for the 2006 show?

No, not last year. I thought someone in here said that somebody flipped ou or sued or something about stuff being shown, taped, or something or other. Anyone else know about that?
