The solo has been doing the on the line chase of that sequence (even in the high show) for the last few show seasons. In the past it was behind the crowd, the sequence is what leads up to the solos teaming up for the Delta join-up.

I'm aware they did that on the high show but not so much during the 4 point on the low show though. It makes sense, I just wish they took out the sneak pass on the echelon. Three seems a little excessive.

As much of a crowd pleaser as the sneaks undeniably are, from a show choreography standpoint it has to do with getting the right aircraft to the right place at the right time.
