Yeah I'm thinking about driving down to this show. I live in the Bay Area, so it's a bit of a drive. Haven't decided if im going to do it yet.

This is one I may come over for - I have friends in Murrieta I can stay with. If I'm going to make it I'll look you up Bo.

I might just join the party! 8)

I should be done with my indoc and have the 7th & 8th off I'm guessing (in PHX) before starting systems for three weeks straight after that weekend (someone kill me please). I can catch a ride from Sky Harbor to SoCal Friday evening unless Gunner needs a copilot. Would be cool to meet everyone on Saturday and catch some vapors before I'm up, off and out again in purgatory...

OK well if you guys come out I will put on a BBQ party! My treat. 8)

@Gunner if you're flying...you can stay at my FBO I can waive all the ramp fees for you and put it in a hangar no charge.

If anyone needs to be picked up or ride to and from, I can give you one and I have some extra room if you need a place to stay. Would be fun and then we can prank call Striker. HAHAH

Thanks so much for the offer, but LD was referring to a copilot in the car. I'm only licensed for gliders, and that would be a little ambitious!

Just a quick bump since the air show at Point Mugu is two weeks out ( Aug 7-8 ). I'm still up for going, training schedule permitting. (I should be free from class Saturday & Sunday)...

Point Mugu Airshow video

Thunderbirds are towards the end. Seems Mr. Roberts used some Magic Bullet software to give the sepia look. FYI...this was shot with a Canon DSLR 7D camera. Amazing that digital still cameras are now shooting full hd resolution video.
