Even though I missed it what how will this set the team back. I know they do have spares but in general. For those of you who don't stay current with Thunderbird news a rail got knocked off the wing of # 4. which was the D version anyways.

It appears they wrote it off to turbulence and as surprising as that may seem, it's also good news! Aircraft damage that occured was only minor. The two pilots could have been dismissed from the team and the Thunderbirds shut down indefinitely for investigation (as the norm has been from past incidents and accidents). Thankfully, that wasn't the outcome this time and they're back in business as usual already!

Thunderbirds continue their season after mishap
