Something interesting from the medium show at Dover today. Possibly a change to the routine for next year?

Figured that... Before the Tbirds narrator had the mic the "budget cut" airshow narrator was saying something like the guy currently flying around was announcing the conditions of the sky to the birds so they could decide whether or not to do a "High, Medium, or Low Show" as he said.Lawndart wrote:The Arrowhead Roll has been (and still is) part of the Low Show
That's why #8 earns more $$. Rob Reider not included, most announcers aren't as knowledgable about team specific details as they sometimes appear to be over the PA system. For anyone else reading, the three types of shows are referred to as the High-, Low-, and Flat Show. The most noticable difference is lower ceilings for each show type, still permitting rolling maneuvers in the Low Show, while no formation loops or rolls are flown in the Flat Show.Tailhook wrote:Before the Tbirds narrator had the mic the "budget cut" airshow narrator was saying something like the guy currently flying around was announcing the conditions of the sky to the birds so they could decide whether or not to do a "High, Medium, or Low Show" as he said.
