Well since the plan is for the F-35 to replace the F-16, I would rather see the F-35 as the next jet. I wouldn't want to see the F/A-22 be the replacement as they will need about 20 aircraft to ensure they have enough birds for a show. That bird breaks A LOT!! Who knows, the F-35 maybe the same way.

Hmm, looks not bad! but IMO the F-16 is better.

Haha, just about to post this. But this would be a huge change from the 16 to the 35.. Probably including a new routine. But the aircraft doesn't look to bad

, it is fairly large though.
