Thunderbirds have officially launched their mobile site.

Simply launch the browser on your phone, and enter the link:
www.usaftbirds.mobi

Site has wallpapers, ringtones, videos, schedule, team members and news sections available. One of the ringtones has JV telling stories, while the others consist of a smorgasbord of radio calls. Site works well on the iPhone.

Thanks Lawndart

Yes, we have seen this... Here is an old thread on the subject in our forum, and as far as we been told the real Tbirds never endorsed this nor the pictures of them on their site!

The quote on the page you linked that reads: "With high-fidelity flight dynamics, state of the art graphics, and input from the real Thunderbirds, this is as real as it gets." is about as far from the truth as it gets! This product is a real shame to what we do here, and I mean that with the uttermost humility.

@Larry, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Lawndart...

I was really suprised to see the ad. It sure looks to me to be supported by the birds, but we both know better than that. I wonder about the quote from Bob Hoover. Sorry to hear it's a dud, but then again, I didn't expect it to be up to your caliber, for sure.

Later,
Larry

That reminded me of the Blue Angels game that came out a looooooong time ago, early nineties I believe. It was on a floppy disk, and came with big booklet and the jets looked like blue and yellow squares! :lol: Still have it somewhere I think. :roll:

Back on topic...

Rumor has it you can send the keyword "tbird" to 48457 and you will be added to the Tbirds Mobile alerts database, where you can receive alerts in 2009.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but figured I'd share the info.
