Thunderbirds announce 2009 officer selections

Two firsts: The 2009 selections include a National Guard and Reserve pilot (Majors Routt and Gustafson, respectively) to serve on the Air Force's premier demonstration team.

2009 selections
#2 Capt. Jacob Hammons, F-15C/T-38 IP pilot.
#4 Maj. Sean Gustafson, F-16 pilot.
#6 Maj. Richard Goodman, F-15E pilot.
#7 Maj. Derek Routt, F-15C pilot.
#10 Capt. Petrina Hansen
#11 Capt. Jamie Rempel
#12 TBA later this summer.

Anyone know the name of the maintenance officer, it must have gotten changed sometime because it is now some Major, just not sure on the name.

Two officers from the initial selection are no longer with the team and replaced by:

#2 Maj. John Baum
#11 Maj. David A. Lemery
