Question about the Vertical Rolls

Post by 502pilot » Wed Mar 07, 2007 5:16 pm

Hi all, I just registered here.
I had a quick question about the vertical rolls that one of the solo pilots do. When the solo does the aileron rolls it looks like there's also a lot of either elevator or rudder input. It looks to me like he's pushing forward on the stick to make the "corkscrew" effect with the smoke. What control inputs are being used? It looks like a lot more than just rolling the plane with only ailerons.
I hope that question makes sense lol.
Thanks.

Yes, forward stick...

Read: Kudos . . . from a knowledgeable fan.
