Hand Signal?

Post by Rhino » Fri Feb 23, 2007 11:37 am

Was going through the pictures from Rockford again, and I believe this is from the diamond rejoin after the High Bomburst, but is it just me or does Hollywood have his left hand/arm up?

Yup, one hand up I guess, but I can't see which one, both could be possible I think...

Unless he was just waving (?), adjusting his visor etc, there are hand signals used in formation flying as well. Bon Jobie or someone else who's done tactical jet formations in real life could propably answer this better, but I know the Solos at least utilize hand signals during certain parts of the demo and the left arm would be the one used, since it's the "throttle arm" and not on the stick.
