Not limited to aerial display teams of course (F-14 Tomcat VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" with Movable Wings show here):

Found the exact same model sold @ www.warplanes.com on Ebay and won the bid for $44! :D I'm turning it into my hood ornament tomorrow...

You all should each buy one with your own number on it. Be kinda hard for 8 though, don't see them making a D model. BTW, hood ornament on your car or CRJ? And if it's your car, if you don't drive a Cadillac or a Lincoln or something comperable, well...

I figured it would look nice with a flashy Viper ornament on my speedy sports car... NOT!

Their showroom/warehouse is in Scottsdale just a few miles from me. When I got my (single) F-16 T-bird, I picked it up...could hang out there all day! They have a 2-3,000 sq foot showroom FULL of models! :D

One day Bon, we'll have your old bird (in a different time, different sim)..., but she'll look as sharp as she did in 1978 @ Nellis!

All the models look good...seen them on eBay...
but the T-38 bums me out...the #2 isn't Claredon font...

Guess I'm too picky... ;)

Haven't seen their showroom Gunner, but they did have a booth set up at the state fair and I saw a little section of their work there. :D

I first saw the T-birds in the T-38's twice at Loring AFB in Maine, USA back in the late 70's and early 80's. Saw them once in the F16 after that and as cool as that was, that T-38 is still hard to beat.

Phantom T-Bird added to the Mancave

Post by Gunner » Tue Mar 11, 2008 9:03 pm

A couple months ago I added a Phantom model to the mancave, and I thought I should post a couple pics of how cool it looks in formation with the Viper I already had. I've been dragging my heels on the pics 'cause I wanted to make some changes to the base/coin display I made, but I may never get to it...
I also want to give another plug to the guys at Pacific Aircraft (www.warplanes.com). Bon and I were in their showroom yesterday, and they took real good care of us.

And my custom base/coin display:
