Picture out of a book (and yes, it's real). During the first Gulf War the Thunderbirds were made combat ready, not something you'd see everyday...

I wouldn't imagine that would be the best paint to go to combat with. Not so much because of the color, but more because of the radar signature. I dont know too much about this stuff, but my understanding is that they use the same paint they use for cars, with a lot more hardener. And that is shiny as heck... so I would only imagine how they would glow on enemy's radar screen and moreover, in front of people!

But again, it would be CLASSIC site to see a TB dropin ordinance over a target, or even get in a dogfight with someone! I'd just run away if I were the opposing pilot lol

just imagine they all formed up in a fingertip form on the radar , it would probably look like a 747 or something .... LOL, i wonder what the enemie would think of shuch skilzorz pilots.
