Are you offering your bandwidth? If so, we appreciate it, but I'd also like to warn you that 600GB will probably be gone in less than one day if you host the movie over there and I'd hate for you to run out of bandwidth on your site.
I sent you a pm, and I found another 750 gigs, I forgot I had.

I suppose every little bit helps. :)

Maybe I need to upgrade :?

Just a thought, can this be sent with yousendit.com? If it is that may be most efficient. Maybe compile a list of users emails and do that.

yousendit plus allows you to send 2 gigs to 200 people a month. It's $4.99 a month, and from what I'm reading, is month to month. I' be willing to buy a months worth and send for those 200 peeps.

Guesstimated downloads over the next few months range between 500-1,000 per day! The server will be back up soon I'm sure and mirrors available (or additional hosts) shortly as well, otherwise the best option is P2P BitTorrents, although then we'd lose the stats with that option. Yousendit is just not a feasible option.

Good mornings guys... Jut got up...

Yeah definetly looks like the serer crashed... I'm very sorry for the troubles...

Right now i'm dialing my ISP... Server should be up in max 2 hours again...

Again my apologzies :(

EDIT 5 Minutes later:
Gents, the server is running again! The server wasn't down, it was just overloaded so that only very few people could download the movie...

Here's the link and again my apologizes... Something like this never happend before... lol :)

EDIT 15 Mins later:
So this is totally awesome! We already caused nearly 2 Terrabytes of traffic now! - And this only through the downloads of the Smoke On movie. Normally, our download section causes this traffic ammount in 1 and half month but tonight we caused this enormous high traffic in only 8 hours!!! lool :D
Kind Regards,

Hmmm... Trying to download it, but it keeps stopping at about 40 megs.

EDIT: Nice, as soon as I said something it started again.

Downloaded to 550 megs of 1076,43 MB and shut-down on me....very frustrating to say the least...such a HUGE HUGE file...

May want to re-think this and break it down for example below:

If you choose to split the file up the best thing you can do is to RAR it up and break it into whatever-MB sized chunks you're looking for. It's a very simple thing to do and I assure you whomever is the one that going to spend the hours rendering out the movie is going to thank you because he's not going to have to go through hell trying to separate the thing into equal-sized pcs so they can be zipped.

For instance, say there are 6 parts, each 100mb:

(WinRaR)
http://www.rarlab.com/rar_file.htm

Someone downloads parts 1-6
Then they extract 1 part (WinRAR will pc.the rest of it together automatically)
The user gets to watch full length movie, no interruptions, and has a single 600mb file.

Lastly, the compression on winRaR is better than that of zip. The end size of the file will be a little smaller.

Best Regards

It is what it is for now...

Server is back and running just fine at the moment! Just be patient and keep trying until the server gives you a download slot. 8)

You're welcome!!

I'll be adding more information, but for now I just wanted to get it up asap. If needed, I'll add another download link.
I had to get up at 4am this morning before going to work, to get the movie downloaded and uploaded.
Well worth it :D

Nice job on the site! Looks great! Thank You Caunck!

(You'll have to let us know your server stats/downloads by X-mas - one month)! Just out of curiosity... It's hard to tell with all these BitTorrents, P2P and more...
