Virtual Thunderbirds performing Live at VFAT November 18, 2006

Saturday, November 18, the Virtual Thunderbirds will be performing LIVE at VFAT 2006. More details will be posted for this event as they become available.

Note: If the event for any reason should cancel, the team will still perform a complete LIVE High Show on our dedicated server the day of the event.

I'm a little confused about what I need to do to get setup to watch this.

On the VFAT site I downloaded the VFAT Airshowpack, which they say is Modman (version 5?) compatible. I'm assuming this has all the VTB mod/skins/etc.

So if I get this installed, is that all I need? Does this take the place of installing the mod from your site (which says is Loman 2.1 compatible)?

And finally, are your in-flight comms going to be broadcast during the show? If so, will they be on the VFAT Teamspeak server, or your Ventrilo server?

Either the airshow pack or our mod will work for our show (ensure you use modman for the airshow pack and loman if you just have our specific skins and mod). Join our public ventrilo at 1800 GMT and we will see you there. You will have to connect to our server when the time comes which is on the VFAT threads or you can find out the server info when you join our ventrilo. Our comms will be broadcasted as always via our ventrilo server. We have a channel in the ventrilo server that allows us members to broadcast only while you can listen in to the whole show. Thanks! I downloaded and installed the Airshowpak from the VFAT site. No problems at all. I think I've got all the pieces in place now.

The Virtual Thunderbirds are set to start off Saturday's demo at 1800 GMT (or 1300 Eastern Time). Join JaBoG32's TeamSpeak server first, but if you want to listen in on the comms, be prepared to hop over to our Ventrilo server as well. Once again, if you download everything needed from the JaBoG32 info page about VFAT 2006, the only additional software you'll need is Ventrilo if you wish to listen to our comms as well. We won't be putting our show on hold for late arriving spectators, so download all the mods, patches and voice comm software now! See you at the show!

Good luck on the live show today. I'm stuck at work and won't be able to watch. At least the skys will be under control in South Texas.

I really enjoyed the comms as well.

Most if not all tracks (incl. the good, bad and ugly) from the performers at VFAT 2006 should now be available for download if you missed out on watching us live (server being full). The mod (for all the skins and aircraft changes) can also be downloaded from the same JaBoG32 page. Kudos to all that participated and also everyone who spectated! It was a blast!

Well, you guys did an amazing job at VFAT, I enjoyed watching it and lucky enough to got a spot lol....

I said it before and Ill say it again...awesome job!!! It was great seeing a full high show with comms. As always, everything was professional, timing was spot on, great work between the diamond and the solo's, and the delta work was phenomenal.

Now I really cant wait to see Smoke On!!

Awesome formations like delta, 5 card, line abreast and perfect timings. Just amazing!
