on another message board it was said that when the teen-age driver was interviewed and asked how he learned to drive like that his reply was Playing Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on Play Station 2.. as mentioned by one of the viewers on the forum

The up and coming of generation Y! Computer savvy with great motorskills and coordination... (to name a few charecteristics that would apply here from a recent USA Today article). I know, cause that's how I learned a lot of my real world piloting skills.
