Hmm, thats too bad than cause BC2 has an automatic updater unlike MW.
I installed the game when I got home the other day and when I loaded it up it already said there was a new patch.
P.S. Newegg currently has BC2 Limited Edition on sale for $44.99. Limited Edition is only available till March 16th.

SOLD OUT
I went ahead and ordered a "plain" copy of BC2. Maybe I'll find a minute to see if it will run on my outdated rig or if I'll be building a new one sometime soon...

Played a bit of multiplayer in XP - it looks horrendous without any anti aliasing, but it seems like it could be fun.
My main complaint, along with the bad graphics is that the bloom/HDR is way exaggerated and seems buggy.

I am having a heck of a lot of fun with this game. I don't know what bad graphics you are referring to because my game is very, very pretty. You can also turn off the bloom making the game a lot easier to look at.
C:\Users\...\Documents\BFBC2
Open Settings.ini and change the Bloom value to 'false'.
You can also change your FOV at the bottom if you feel you can't see enough on the screen, I currently have mine set to 90 and it's working out great for me.

This is the first game that my computer has had trouble running. I have to run it on medium and I still get slide shows if it gets hectic.
Overall, the game is beautiful and fairly realistic, but I don't know what it is that I can't grasp. I do really well on CoD but I am terrible at BC2.

It's a very different style of gameplay. I haven't really picked it up yet, although I had it for a while in the beta somehow.
Like Kevin said, bloom off, and it looks perfect to me.

Had the entire day off and (for once) nothing to do, or nothing that needed to get done. Irony: My copy of BC2 arriving late in the day and I'm flying out tomorrow morning hours before the sun rises. Guess I'll be trying this out sometime next week maybe (?), but at least I have the game now...

Neat!
Kind of sucks that because I actually play for objectives it hurts my K/D ratio.
