• My Son's new career is?

After financing his education at the Justice Institutes Fire Academy ($20,000+), my son Brian received some great news today. He has been hired by the District of North Vancouver Fire Department and his start date is December 1.

So, I’m kicking him out the door, he’s on his own…..no not really. He is married and lives in the in-law’s basement. Brian’s a good kid and he has made me proud. Just thought you all might want to know.

He had a great mentor, I'm not surprised at his success.

Congrats Red and to Brian!! He's going to do great in North Vancouver and I am sure will make a fantastic Firefighter.

The only thing is that now I am really scared to play North Van in Hockey because they've just added another ex-junior hockey player to their lineup...
