Anyone up for "Winter Crash", the *new* Christmas map that came with the 1.4 patch over the next few days?

Hehe,

I have been playing it since it came out and found some time to play on the 22ndSAS realism servers.

The IP can be found on their website.
www.the22ndsasclan.org.uk

I usually play some every evening (my time). I guess that would be noon for you gents.

Great find LD, I'm pretty sure I've played with 'Evotech' from the last poster.

I haven't been around much lately...mostly been working on the "pit", and a little bit of actual "work", but I've taken a LITTLE bit of time for play.
The inner recesses of the Man Cave have generated some window rattling fun that has some of my neighbors wondering...

The Triplehead is not retired. :D

After finally getting some game time, I've now got a completely broken left and right hand from playing COD4 multiplayer for the last 6 hours.
I can't straighten my right hand and it looks all claw like (mouse syndrome) and my left can't bend the fingers (from the keyboard stance) but man it was worth it.

This game is fracking awesome, even on 1920x1200 with most settings switched on I get very smooth screens (i need to do a fraps frame rate test yet).

The game locked up around about the 5 hour mark, so hats off to my 8800 for lasting that long in 52 player intense deathmatch sessions.

Hopefully I'll be able to join you guys some time when I pull an all nighter (I'm the other side of the pond so prob 8+ hours in front of most of you guys).

Quick tip for all the killers in the room, even if you're getting good frames 90% of the time I highly recommend dropping your resolution to make sure you get great frames 100% of the time. I've found that the times when the game is getting really hectic are the same times when you really need glassy frames to make those nice precise headshot lineups ;)

I'm not sure how your ping times would be to a USA server but feel free to stop by our ventrilo some evening; if you see Striker and Panther in there chances are there's sneaky sneaky killin to be had :D

Yeah I'll drop the resolution, thanks for the tip Burner.
It seemed to lock up when I was killed but had the pistol to finish them off with (the red outline).

I'll also check your vent when I next get on.

I am thinking about putting the GrudgeMatch server back online...as a ModWarfare server. Hardcore mode with no nades, nade launchers, noob tubes, C4 or claymores. I am so tired of nade prospectors.

Maybe I'll put up two servers... one Super Supreme and one Super Supreme hold the olives and mushrooms. ;)

I'M TIRED OF LAST STAND. When folks fire back and kill you with their pistol as you "continue" to pump them full of lead. Try that in real life and you won't even be able to reach your darn pistol. Also the other "cheat" as I call it... when people pull out a hand grenade and pull the pin before they die. Now if I shoot you in the head do you really think you will be able to do that?
