Problem:
When I use this tool and go to the Display tab, Test Direct3D I see the cube spinning super fast. It will ask if you can read the cube, but I can't because it's too fast to read?
Any suggestions on how to slow it down?

Redeye, does the cube spin fast on all three Direct3D tests performed when you hit the button (once)? I just ran one with DX diagnostics on my notebook and each instance was slow paced. I'm not at home to test it on my other rig, so I can't tell you whether this is normal or not.

All three test were the same, to fast to read the cube.

Well, seems i can't do anything to slow down the spinning cube.
What i did to improve my FPS and eliminate most of the studders is lower the
hardware acceleration down one notch.
Right click on your desktop and select properties/settings/advanced. In the next window select troubleshoot. Here you can lower your setting. Mine was set to Full. One notch down disables cursor and bitmap accelerations. This leaves a disappearing cursor (studdering cursor) only when your ingame but you can still manage to position it to make your selections.
I haven't tried flying with 6 or more clients on our server yet but on my own phantom server i get approx 10-12 more FPS.

Hey Red,
I changed my settings as well and got another 8-10 FPS. That almost gets me into the double-digits!!

I'd be curious as to how you have your video card set up as well: Anti-Aliasing, anisotropic filtering, etc.
I'll talk to you about it tonite.
Thanks for the post!.
