Google Maps - Crimean Peninsula

Check this out: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=k&om= ... 3,0.379028

Actual satellite image over Lock-On-Land. Kind of neat! You'll need to zoom some...

You should really try this in the states or on your own home. I could zoom into a detail level that you could tell apart the dump trucks, when (at the time) they were building my house. Simply amazing detail! I would have been able to pick out if I had parked within the space on the parking lot had it been there. I noticed not all area's had this detail, but Orlando was one that was uber-high res!

Good call, but there are no Thunderbirds sitting on the ramp outside their hangar in Google: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=k&om= ... 86,0.00236

Many other Vipers and Eagles to the south end though!

Thats the old Fat Albert for the Museum there. On "Windows live media maps" has the Blue Angels sitting on the ramp.

EDIT:!!!! Yes thats the real Fat Albert!
