This is probably more along the lines of Ray's and Teej's interests but I'm going to post this for everybody anyways. If you are a hot rod enthusiast like myself and looking for something to do during the first weekend of November, I recommend checking this out!

Haha - the ol' import vs. domestic debate. I have respect for any car that's tastefully modded and who's driver has a good attitude.
"Ricer" is a mentality, not so much determined by vehicle type - although the majority of people with a ricer mentality do seem to drive imports.
I've got a ported/pullied '03 Cobra with ~530 RWHP but since I'm a crappy driver at the strip 11.95 @ 124.46 is my best so far. The IRS in the Cobra isn't very good for dig runs, especially on drag radials (Nitto DR's on mine) or a street tire. It wheel hops a good bit unless you change out the bushings to something more solid, or run an ET street. So I seem to get it started out of the hole fairly well, but then can't come in with all of the power without it starting to spin/wheel hop.
People with similar setups somehow manage high 10's @ 126-128. However those seem to be run at very good tracks in excellent conditions and running ET streets or a slick.
Event is this weekend. I'm trying to get a few friends to go and watch...maybe even race, I don't know.

Not bad! The 99-04 Cobra and Saleen body styles are the only Mustangs I like...that and Eleanor.
