The guy in the blue jet is lucky he didnt have a fire. If you look at the picture of him on final, you can see the gasoline coming out the wing. Like this thread said, unbelieveable! Geez, funny how American made products can be extremely beat up yet still fly/drive/work. Happy Flying! SuperBugz

Any real Air Force out there that can confirm or at least hint that the F-22 can do this in real life. I've seen some videos from the Langley Air Show this year, looks like he can pull the stick back enough if he were to be going slower to be able to do it. Just curious.

Happy Flying!

Ok......first I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this movie but that was replaced with crying on the end of the movie. Tip for the pilot, first learn to fly THEN start to make movies......... About the graphics, you can't judge a sim on a video or even a picture, it goes about what flying experien...

A couple of questions for you- 1. You said that there wasnt an international airport near you, but is there an airport with maybe a 5000 foot runway near you or you are on the approach path to? 2. Which leads me to my next question/comment, if the answer is yes, a C-17 may be practicing "tactical in...

If you thought that was unbelieveable- This apparently happened at Top Gun a couple of years back. Two agressor F-18s got together. Here is one of them on final- http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/5368/18damagejg1.jpg Here it is on the ground- http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/6292/18damage2ho9.jpg...

Just like Yeager said, something to the effect of, "Its a rocket with 2 stubby wings. Thats it" and "I believe that rocket has my name on it" Sorry, been a while since I saw The Right Stuff. Saw you guys at Oshkosh a couple of years ago. For 40-50 year old birds they still are pretty and can scoot! ...

Also be advised, that local law enforcement may "shoo" you away from stopping on the side of a street to watch a practice. Remember that demo teams use ground markers for reference, so if you are sitting at the end of the runway threshold on a street or on the side of the road, dont be offended when...

Re: Differences in graphics... LOMAC vs. F4:AF

Here is a graphic representation of the differences between the 2, it's not even close... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5326753393224743667 btw...this probably shoulda been a reply to the "competition" thread, since it is a solo routine by that other "virtual thunderbirds" solo #5. Strike...
