Thanks bro! We'll definitely try everything we can do on our end. My hunch is still that this issue is either with 1.1 (StarForce) or the server/client settings in the config files (and/or whatever the mod doesn't/does send between the host and clients) during a multiplayer session. BTW, we never ha...

Boozig, I don't know about the other guys, but I have my virtual memory maxed out at 4GB and I also run 2GB of physical memory in the system, so this shouldn't be an issue for me at least. Thanks for the suggestion though! Cinch, You forgot the "/" in the last [img]to%20make%20your%20sig%20file%20wo...

The "rank" on the forum is based on how many posts you have. It follows the U.S. Air Force rank system... You shouldn't even have to lock up a target to padlock another plane, just be in A-A mode. The radar has nothing to do with it, just needs to be on during the padlocking, but not painting anythi...

Well, I'm glad you figured out the padlock issue. Could you pls let me know what it was? And I'm happy to let you know I've probably solved the mission problem for you. You need to go into your options/setup and change the box that reads "metric units" to "imperial units". What you've been entering ...

1.1 "Stuttering" in Multiplayer

Ok, we've exhausted all our options (for now) as to what causes this stuttering problem we have in 1.1? The ground stutters regardless of which aircraft we fly, Russian and American and it doesn't matter whether the game is unmodded or not. Once you get really close to another plane even the aircraf...

Make sure the legs between each waypoint are really long! Oh, and you need to create two different fighter groups, one for your self and one for the plane you want to fly formation with. This way you both have totally separate waypoints (although you don't need to use yours). The padlock should work...

Make sure you have more than one waypoint in between the first and last waypoints (takeoff and landing waypoints). Basically, the A/I plane needs to have the speed set to 350 between not just one turningpoint, but at least two in succession to keep that speed. Otherwise, it will start reducing as so...

To sum this problem up: It was a port issue! For some reason SilentEagle couldn't connect with the default port in LOMAC, when everyone else could and this first started with 1.1. We still don't know why (must have been on his end), but everyone was using a different port and able to join just fine....

Did you make sure to change the pilot skill from "client" to "player" in the mission editor/open mission page before you clicked on fly? Client is used for multiplayer missions and will not allow you to fly anything in singleplayer, unless you change it first... You need to be more specific about yo...

Most of us will try to make it if we can. We're definitely interested in seeing the VFTC and also curious to see how well a live internet show can look (something we might try in the future)...

Thanks for the heads up Searcher!

Well, some of us had problems with the high res skins (2048 x 2048) and most of us, myself included used the low res ones (1024 x 1024) instead. You really cannot tell much of a difference unless you look at the markings on the airplanes, and then still it's hard to tell. The new mod we're working o...

We're actually trying to get the real narrator to do it! We haven't discussed exactly what we'll do, but there should be some narrating in our next vid! :P

Thanks for your nice comments Boozig! Lead is definitely not a walk in the park, although it is a totally different animal compared to flying wing or slot! You have to have good situational awareness, be right on time and speed by every marker and "uber" smooth on the controls. Glad you enjoy it! :D
