I've spent days testing coefficients and can't come up with reliable conclusions on hardly any of the coefficients. I understand the drag coefficients (mostly) but that's about it.

Yea, I know exactly what parameter and what file it is in, but if you were to modify the FM, you would have to completely add an entry for the F-16 as it is not already in this file. The file basically consists of the F-15, A-10, Su-27, and Yak-40.. that's it. I'm thinking ED left those 4 jets in th...

I will be leading a prayer session tonight for Chris' recovery at 6:30 pm EST in our (VPJT) vent. Please come if you can or are able. I heard he's through surgery.

Noticed the same thing Lawndart. I think it's really a size difference. You are so far away from the center of the other jet when in F-15s.

Can't wait to hear what you can do with the new 3D sound engine Frazer, granted the sound engine is not yet complete of course.

BFBC2 has the best sound engine I've heard in any game... here's to hoping DCS or some flight sim reaches that quality some day.

Yes, I had a blast. We raided 104th server and just created havoc with our beast of a formation. I led most of the time (honestly I think anyone can lead now) and it was super super smooth for everyone even when I screwed up parameters. We flew without padlock as it is not allowed in a combat server...

Buy this now. Formation was cake even without tension on my stick (had to disable force feedback :( :( ). Blaze, Burner, and I just did some flying in the F-15 and it was like butter. Every movement is damped out now and you can screw up and still end up in formation. Amazingly smooth connection too.

Ok, I took another look. Your picture looks fine at second glance, but mine is still missing advanced haze.

Also, I'm thinking the trim problem is due to force feedback like it was in FC1, but I'm not sure.

Yea I just figured that out...didn't know it was different than old Lock On. I got AA now, but even that second shot you posted looks like it's missing advanced haze in a way. There is no option for it anymore.

Yea it seems that nobody else is posting about their findings on the ED forums yet, as I don't think most people have it. (I had it installed and running 15 minutes after it was released). I'm sure the AA and advanced haze issues can be sorted out, but I do not know how. The screens they posted look...

Yea you can. I haven't looked into the modability of FC2 yet... so there could be some gains there, but in its current state, I won't be flying it. I'm baffled by the anti-aliasing and crappy looking haze though. This is what my game looks like with the same settings I would use in FC1. Something is...

Extremely disappointed with this release to say the least. Pros: -Fixed full shadows bug. -Fixed sound bugs. -I found some SFM .lua files for engine and aerodynamic info. Unfortunately the acronyms keep me from being able to tell what variable is what. Cons: -Aircraft handle completely differently (...
